Position Overview
We are seeking attentive, friendly, and professional Servers to join our team. As a Server at Smooth Bar & Lounge, you’ll play a key role in creating an elevated dining and social experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is poised, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide an exceptional, personalized dining experience
- Present menus, take orders accurately, and make knowledgeable recommendations
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain awareness of guest needs and ensure all tables receive attentive service
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Set, reset, and maintain clean tables and dining areas
- Process payments accurately and handle POS transactions
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Assist in opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred (upscale dining or lounge experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ preferred depending on alcohol service requirements)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
